When analyzing a dataset click on the following icon to access the line chart:

The line chart will plot your selected dimension by the datasets default date field. If your dataset does not contain a date field this chart type is not available.

Click on the items in the chart's key to hide those lines.

Selecting a line will display the results for the entire time period in the Preview Panel rather than for an individual month.
