The Purge Data function enables you to easily delete selected records within a Dataset.

You can access this option from the Dataset menu (3 dots) on the Datasets screen:

Step 1: Select the Purge Method

There are two ways to specify the records you wish to purge:

  1. Purge by Filter - Specify the records you wish to purge using a Filter Query

  2. Upload Record Keys - Manually select the records and upload their Record Keys in a text file

Step 2: Select the records to purge

If Purging by filter then define a query to select the records you wish to purge.

If Uploading Record Keys then upload a text file containing the Ipiphany Record Keys.

(See the Instructions for Preparing a Purge Record Keys file)

Step 3: Review and Confirm

Finally review your purge request before confirming.

After confirming the purge request will execute after all other updates have completed.
