If you wish to purge manually selected records from a Dataset then you will need to create a Purge Keys Text File that contains only the Ipiphany Record Keys of the records you wish to delete.

To create this file follow this simple 3-step process:

Step 1: Export records for dataset

Either from the Datasets screen or from within a Dataset select the Export Records option for a dataset to download the data into an Excel file.

Step 2: Select the records you wish to purge

Within the Excel file find the rows you wish to purge and either filter to those rows or delete all other rows.

Step 3: Copy values from the Ipiphany Record Key column to a text file

Once you have selected only the rows you wish to delete, select only the values from the Ipiphany Record Key column and paste these into a text file.

Tip: In Windows you can use Notepad to create and edit the text file.

This is the file you should select when uploading record keys as part of the Purge Data process
