If your Ipiphany account has integrations enabled, the Agoda data source is available when creating or appending data to a Dataset. It is used to download and import accommodation reviews.

Step 1: Give the Connection a memorable name

We suggest the name contains both a reference to Agoda and the name of the Accommodation you are sourcing reviews for. e.g. Agoda - Crowne Plaza Queenstown

Step 2: Add Agoda page URL

The URL is the link to the Agoda page for the accomodation. To find this, open agoda.com and search for the accommodation then copy and paste the URL.

The URL will look something like this: https://www.agoda.com/en-nz/crowne-plaza-queenstown/hotel/queenstown-nz.html?finalPriceView=2&isShowMobileAppPrice=false&cid=1844104&numberOfBedrooms=&familyMode=false&adults=2&children=0&rooms=1&maxRooms=0&checkIn=2021-10-10&isCalendarCallout=false&childAges=&numberOfGuest=0&missingChildAges=false&travellerType=1&showReviewSubmissionEntry=false&currencyCode=NZD&isFreeOccSearch=false&isCityHaveAsq=false&los=1&searchrequestid=06a98cd2-770e-4282-b156-9d2e9a3e1532

If you want, you can remove the part of the URL after the '?' as this is not required e.g.

https://www.agoda.com/en-nz/crowne-plaza-queenstown/hotel/queenstown-nz.html

Step 3: Add an Earliest Record Date if required

The earliest record date limits the results to only those after the specified date. Note that the most recent reviews will return first up to your maximum records setting.

Step 4: Set the Maximum Records to Import

This setting limits the number of reviews that are downloaded in one synchronization.

Step 5: Choose if you want to 'Download Only' or not

If you enable 'Download Only' the reviews will be downloaded and appear in Dataset Settings > Data but will not be appended to your Dataset. This is useful when you want to manually add a column, translate, or perform some other manual action to the data prior to it being appended.
